GODU Mobility (“GODU,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates a ride-hailing and vehicle mobility platform connecting drivers, vehicle owners, and riders across Ghana, accessible through our website (godumobility.com), our mobile application (app.godumobility.com), and related services (together, the “Platform” or “Services”). This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to all users of our Platform, including riders, drivers, and vehicle owners. By creating an account, accessing, or using the Platform, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. 2.1 Information You Provide to Us

- Location Data: Real-time and historical GPS location data collected while the app is in use (and, for drivers, while in “online”/available status) to enable trip matching, navigation, fare calculation, and safety monitoring.
- Trip Data: Pickup and drop-off points, routes taken, trip duration, distance, and fare details.
- Device Information: Device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, IP address, mobile network information, and app version.
- Usage Data: Pages viewed, features used, session duration, crash logs, and diagnostic data.
- Cookies and Similar Technologies: Used on our website to remember preferences and understand site usage (see Section 8).

- Identity verification partners and background check providers (for drivers and vehicle owners).

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information as follows:- Between Riders and Drivers: To facilitate a trip, riders and drivers may see limited information about each other, such as name, profile photo, phone number, vehicle details, and rating.
- Service Providers: Payment processors, mobile money operators, cloud hosting providers, SMS/communication providers, and identity verification partners who process data on our behalf.
- Legal and Regulatory Authorities: Where required by Ghanaian law, court order, or to cooperate with law enforcement, regulatory bodies (e.g., the National Road Safety Authority, Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority, or the Data Protection Commission), or to protect the rights, safety, and property of GODU, our users, or the public.
- Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.
- With Your Consent: Where you have given explicit consent for a specific purpose.
5. Data Retention
We retain personal data for as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal and regulatory obligations (including tax and transport-sector recordkeeping requirements), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Trip and payment records may be retained for a minimum period as required by applicable Ghanaian financial and tax regulations. When data is no longer required, we securely delete or anonymize it.6.
